Sharpshooters don't go under 40% like those two have done. They are good high school shooters and that's it.

I think you would be hard to find many high school players that shoot 40 % from behind the arc by the end of the season. 30%-35% is very good for a high schooler to be shooting.

 

I plan on going to the game tonight, this will be my first Ryle game in a few years.

I didn't say it wasn't good, I just said they are not sharpshooters. Sharpshooters are guys like Sparks at Tates Creek and I guarantee he will hit 40% for the year.

CovCath is very solid defensively and I don't think Helmer has dropped 20 on anybody yet. Ryle has played a decent schedule to this point but CovCath has played a monster schedule. I think Ryle continues to struggle to score and CovCath wins 60-45.

I thought Helmer has had 2 20 pt games? If not I stand corrected but the kid is extemely capable of changing the face of a game quickly from what I've seen. Run him off some high screens and he'll get ya! I've been to several different high school games and it looks like the shooters are all small and these coaches don't set hard screens for them??

They have others that will cover the inside. The loss will not hurt their inside game. The young man that is in question is not their biggest guy.

Boy somebody must have really hurt your feelings. I am sorry that they did.

I am not sure how Ryle is this year but I watched the Cov. Cath/Conner game and probably the biggest disappointment besides Conner losing was Luke Maile.

 

From all the hype about this kid he played poor only having 2 points both from free throws. I don't know how Ryle is but I think a starter like that needs to step up to beat Ryle because they have been tough in the past and have had a decent program than can hurt you if you have an off day.
