Where is the logic in these predictions. Rose Hill wins at Fairview, beats Morgan, and laid an egg at Marshall County. On the other hand, Boyd beat by 50+ by Elliott, lost to Ashland and according to the posters at the game it wasn't as close as the final score of 6, and beat West.

 

I just don't see the how everyone is picking Boyd in this one. I will go with Rose Hill by 12.

It's tough for a two man team to win, but they beat Morgan County, and Morgan County seems to be better than Boyd County. After watching Boyd's guards I do not see how they can do anything with Jackson at all. You can keep Selby out of the game by pushing the ball hard, but Rose Hill doesn't seem inclined to do that. Euton can shoot over Selby all night, but if Selby is allowed to get physical it could take Euton out of his game. Rose Hill 57-54. Jackson gets 27 and Euton gets 21.

Most will agree if Boyd hits the FT's the game is won big by Boyd.

Don't see Boyd winning "big" by any means but I think they may squeak this one out at home by 1 pt. The Hill doesn't seem to have gotten it together yet this season. Selby will definetly do some scoring inside in this one. He's a tough matchup for any team with his size.

I was only able to listen to the game, but I feel like the turning point was a couple of things.

1. Boyd turned the ball over around 5 or 6 times in the last 5 minutes of the game when it was still nip and tuck.

2. Boyd could not get the ball accross halfcourt, which is a noted problem for Boyd by many. Boyd needs someone to get the ball accross halfcourt. Gaurd play is still too young for Boyd.

Not getting the ball across half court is a major problem. Makes you wonder how anyone is picking Boyd tonight.

As I posted earlier, Jackson will tear up Boyd's guards. The Faulkners, C. Knipp and Ferguson all had a field day with them and Jackson will too.
