Paducah Tilghman, Graves County, and maybe Calloway County.

Jackson had 20 plus, Euton had 9. Marshall Co played very physical, alot of Euton's shots were contested. I'm sure he will bounce back.

Dakotah Euton's numbers as a forward were 9 points, 2 for 17 shooting, 1 for 8 for threes, 8 rebounds, 1 block, 3 turnovers with no assists recorded.

It's just interesting to see the rebounding stats are not 20 and 24 as they are normally reported from their regional games. The stats are from the book.

I didn't say that as a knock to the rest of the team, but we've been talking about their 2 superstars for years now. They are going to have to have another player or two contribute some points if they are going to have a great team.

Thanks for the correction. I was going from memory off the scores posted by number on the score boards at Marshall Co.

Didn't I hear that the RH middle schoolers were loaded last year? Are any of them ready? After all, they're only a couple of grades behind Euton and Jackson.

 

RH does get a lot of hype on this board; and the "big 2" are pretty good players; but it's a stretch to say that the squad should be ranked. There are a lot of 16th region supporters here, and a lot of RH faithful. There is another 16th region team that is the real deal this year, though...

Euton and Jackson 27 of the 44 points

 

17 points by all other players

 

Euton and Jackson taking 29 shots (hitting only 8 of them for 27% shooting)

 

Euton and Jackson combined for 2 assists verus 6 turnovers

 

Perhaps its tougher for the other players to get involved if there are not enough looks for them based on the combined 2 assists between Euton and Jackson.

No I'm not making fun of any kid and I never will. My response is not critical, or sarcastic but it is realistic and by the way who is 15?

 

There have been many great high schoolers find themselves transferring from big colleges after their freshman year. Both of Rose Hill's prospects may be better off at a smaller school.

 

Let me give you an example of one of my own. Mark Surgaski, in my opinion was a great player in this region. He ended up at Georgetown, where he played really well. I am not saying anything bad about any kid, so quit adding words to my post. You didnt argue with my post so maybe deep down, you agree.

I have not heard anyone from Rose Hill talk about winning the state. They know they have their hands full beating Elliot County. Top 25 team, yes, but They are way too Young to be considered as State contenders. Euton is going to be judged in every game he plays from now until he graduates thanks to the Kentucky offer. Pretty tough spot to be in, but I also know that Euton knows what he needs to work on and will work as hard as anyone in the state

to get there. So for those of you that enjoy his bad games, enjoy this one, there won't be that many more of them as he has a lot of MONSTER games coming up:thumb:
