I'd think this one would have to be considered a little bit of a suprise, McCreary had been touted as one of the regional favorites and came in at 3-0. Looks like the 12th Region will be as wide open as ever--should Wayne County actually be considered the favorite in 46th District?

Not a suprise to me..I picked West Jessamine in the contest. They have a new kid this year...Florence...watch out for this kid.

I thought Wayne had been the favorite in that district all along since they returned basically everyone and beat Mccreary three times last year.

yea that new kid (Richard Florence) along with sophomore guard jarrod polson carried the team.

this was a great game all the way through! Florence and Lee traded off on guarding Watts and held him to just 11pts! West was down 5 at half but stepped it up big time. West played most of the game without their startin PF Jeffrey too cus of foul trouble and a technical foul. This was a very rough game but very very exciting

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Florence and his assistant coach at Big Blue Madness.

Where did the Florence kid come from. I don't remember him from last year.

I still really like McCreary's chances at the reigon championship. Losing by four on the road at a region contender is nice for me - since McCreary lost to West Jessamine by seven at home last season.

 

McCreary will be a contender big-time in the region.
