Illegal or Unethical

Featured Replies

There is a rule in place that states it as wrong under the sportsmanship rule. There are examples provided by some who are involved in the game at the high school level. What does this really say about so called professional educators that would stoop to the point of deliberately violating a sports principle. One, is it OK to do it in girls bball because it is not as important or two, it happens in boys bball too. Regardless, a coach who does this, an AD who allows this, a principal who looks the other way and a superitendent who pretends not to know speaks volumes about that school! Great example!

I seen Bracken county and Mason county both do it a few years back ., Neither was playing in the game. I actually Know that to be a fact

Boys team or girls team?

That seems to be pretty clear. And if neither of the competing coaches have agreed to being taped, a clear violation.

I also would think it would be unprofessional.

This case in point did not involve a PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR.

Even if it were not illegal, it is very unethical. SHAME.

The Funny thing is NO one posted any School names except for you. Being a Bracken Countian, dosent seem like you would call your own school out like that, but then again i guess some people are always trying to one up somebody. Maybe this was all just a Question thread???? Maybe Not........

Facts are Facts, No need to lie, No need to hide, JDC germantown ky.

New question ?

School A is a small private school k-8, and has no sports programs. The students play their sports at School B. They play at School B till they are in the 8th grade and not allowed to play on School B’s High school teams. School C has taken a player from School A and has them on their teams High School roster while still enrolled at School A as an 8th Grader. Is this allowed?

I personaly have seen this happen years ago when alot more parents video taped there kids games but haven't heard of any such behavior in sometime.

I would have to agree with the jury on this one seems a little unethical with all the tape exchanges coaches do now a days. Is it not always better to just ask ?? All they can say is NO.

I think it depends on whether or not School C is a private school.

I am not sure what the ruling on this should be. But I would have to think that there is something not right with the situation. This question wouldn't be talking about the same school C as the other question now would it.:sssh: Hmmm wonder what other topics there are out there about School C ???????;)
