Final per Riherd's. If the score is correct; sounds like Bourbon is handling the adversity of the recent accident very well. Anyone have any details?

Bourbon County: Massie 16, Norton 14, Livengood, 11, Edwards 6, Acuff 2, Stanfield 2, Smith 1.

Deming: Fryman 10, E. Carmack 4, K. Carmack 2, Mithcell 3, B. Isacc 2,

Burden 2, Smith1

Anytime Erin Carmack gets only 4 pts. your not gonna win any games, Guard Chelse Fryman only player in double digits.

They lost Keshia Woods to graduation. One other player they don't have is Jessica Hester she is cheerleading this year, don't know why she isn't playing basketball other than maybe she wanted to do something else.

Didn't Deming lose alot to graduation last year

I do not believe so they still have both the Carmack girls. They should have a pretty good year i would think.

Both Carmack girls are still playing. Erin is a senior and Kelsey is a freshman.

Congrats to Bourbon Co. on winning after a tough weekend. Heard that if everything would have gone right Saturday that they would have played Deming that night too in the start of a back to back. Interesting. I also believe Deming will bounce back. It sounds like they had a rough night. It's tough to replace a point guard like Keshia Woods. They will get better as the season goes.

Afraid it will be a long season for the lady devils. Right now all teams have to do is shut down Erin Carmack and they shut down the Deming offense. Others will have to step up. Carmack can 24 points in her sleep. But until she gets some help the scores for them will be low. Give Chelsa Fryman time and she will be one of the better point guards to come out of the Lady Devil program. She will be more productive that some of the more recent point guards. She just needs to get some minutes under her belt.
