December 4, 200718 yr I just listened to it and I didn't hear where he did anything bad. At the end of the press conference, in the middle of someone asking him a question he was just like "I said I would answer 2 questions and thats all, bye guys" and just like walked away. I thought it was rude.

December 4, 200718 yr I am not saying that they didn't face it at sometime....this team has spent most of the last 5 weeks on the "brink" of losing, and have gotten some serious breaks....they may be able to complete that, great. I will not coronate them as the best ever....too many things have bounced their way for me to feel that way. They've also been on the receiving end of some questionable officiating in at least two of those games...actually, the Colts game wasn't even questionable. It was flat out terrible. Last night, Baltimore got away with a lot on the Pats WR's...it just so happens the refs decided to call it at the very end of the game. I think what we're seeing is the Patriots having to face teams who are treating the opportunity to beat them like the Super Bowl...teams like Philly and Baltimore have little to no chance at making the playoffs, so this is an opportunity to salvage the season to some degree. Also, these teams have a lot of talent, especially the Raven's defense. It shouldn't be a huge surprise that the Pats are having to play 4 quarters to win against talented, underachieving teams who are putting everything they've got into this one game. And, it doesn't hurt that two 2nd string QB's have played lights out. It happens...and, like I said last week, it doesn't change my opinion of New England in the least. In fact, it shows that they can still get it done when things aren't going their way and their backs are against the wall. Often times when teams breeze through the schedule and aren't tested, they forget how to respond when they do get in a tight game. The Patriots have shown that they still have that same ability to get it done when winning time rolls around.

"We had some bogus calls," said running back Willis McGahee, "but it is what it is." http://sportsline.com/nfl/story/10510802 I find it amusing that the Ravens are complaining about the officiating...they were practically allowed to tackle the Patriot receivers on more than one occasion throughout the game with no call and they're mad because they actually called it at the end. Give me a break...from what I've watched in recent weeks, the Patriots get anything but favorable treatment from the refs. If the Ravens want someone to blame for their loss, they need to look no further than themselves. How about getting mad at Rex Ryan for calling a timeout on a play that they stopped Brady and would have won the game? If anything, the officiating helped the Ravens get in position have a chance at the end. And, I must say...I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Baltimore lose in the fashion that they did. It was very satisfying to see them play their hearts out, play their best game of the season, and then lose because of an ill-timed timeout and a lucky false start. Just too good.

We can speculate now, but until the season is over and we can look at the completed body of work, it's too early to say they're the best ever. If they go 19-0, they're going to have a strong argument.
December 4, 200718 yr I've been a Pats fan since they played Da Bears in the 1985 Super Bowl. I really hated that Bears team. The Ravens lost that game last night. It was theirs until the timeout. And all heck broke loose. Brady answered questions and left. It was after 12 AM, time to go home. He does have a model at home waiting.

Forgot to address that as well...I didn't see anything bad about Brady's press conference. They told him two more questions, he answered them, and then some guy started asking another and Brady said, "You said two more questions. I'm outta here." I don't blame him. Can you imagine how sick these guys probably get of talking to these bonehead reporters that are just looking for any opportunity to twist your words into a big story, whether that's what you meant or not. My favorite part of the whole presser was this sequence though... After a reporters asks Brady about the officiating... Brady: I get fined if I say anything. Maybe you guys can analyze it and tell me about it. Then the reporter says something about the calls against Baltimore on the last drive going the Patriots way... Brady: Yeah, and the the calls for the first 3 quarters of the game went in their favor, so I'd say they evened out. :lol::lol: Classic...the Ravens get all the breaks and benefits for 58 minutes, and then they get a couple of calls at the end (legit calls that were obvious I might add) and suddenly they got shafted. Give me a break.
