jahearme Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Pretty impressive win on the Hilltop. Good Luck to Coach Letton and his team! He deserves it.
KY Thorobred Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great Atmosphere on the hill tonight!!!! Great year Breds, keep your heads up....there is no shame in losing to the state champs in the semi's!
Guest Bluto Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great job, Knights!! Do Lexington proud: bring back the Title!!
stick1 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Congrats! You have to tip your hat too Coach Letton and his staff! Pitching a shutout in the final 4 is impressive! Congrats to Coach Grahm and company on a great season too!
KyFans11 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Congrats! You have to tip your hat too Coach Letton and his staff! Pitching a shutout in the final 4 is impressive! Congrats to Coach Grahm and company on a great season too! Those were my same exact thoughts. Several blowouts like this in the semis. But I think this is the only shutout. Wasn't HCHS missing a few players due to a car accident??? However it shows that Lex Cath is to be reckoned with.
hchs Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Too much size, strength, speed, quickness and depth for the Breds. HC had a couple of opportunities early to take a one or two TD lead after LC turnovers, but couldn't capitalize. Seems strange to say, but LC methodically pulled away from the Breds with "big plays". HC had a handful of "big plays" themselves, but theirs didn't find the end zone...some big gainers, but were caught from behind, then the LC defense stiffened. Good crowd on the Hilltop and a great atmosphere, especially thru most of the first half. LC led 20-0 at halftime, but scored the last 13 of them inside the last couple of minutes of the second quarter. Congrats to the Knights and best of luck next weekend.
bluegrassfootball Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great game tonight for both teams. Hats off to HC playing as hard as they did with all that has happened this season. Good game for LC's defense. A shutout is amazing. LC' s offense can be dangerous. Had five turnovers tonight. If they can minimize the turnovers, they could be really good offensive team. Anyways great win for LC. Going to Papa Johns.
Hilltopper2005 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 2 games between the Breds and Knights this season and the Breds were shut out on both occasions.
MrFLYER3 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great job this year by HC and Coach Staff. Keep your heads up. :thumb:
Hilltopper2005 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great job this year by HC and Coach Staff. Keep your heads up. :thumb: Excellant season for the Breds and their Coaching Staff. A very emotional season with many ups and downs. The low point was the 38-6 loss to Franklin and the high point most likely was the 30-6 win over Franklin in the play-offs. Congratulations Coaches and Players on a job well done!
