UConn returned all 3,000 tickets to their game at UC. Looks like neither travel. There are already about 7,000 bowl tickets sold to the UC fan base...

IU didn't, they are waiting to see where they are going. So they presell thing is irrelevant, UCONN might blow them out of the water for that. You can't know yet.

That's my point though, there's nothing to say that UC fans even go when they're in town. I'd take a flyer on the team with a larger fan base.
November 26, 200718 yr 9-3 is , by itself, not enough to judge a team. You have to take into account the schedule and the conference. Unfortunately, the BE is not perceived to be a top-notch football conference yet. I actually think that UL having a bad year hurt everyone in the league when it comes to conference credibility. 9-3 in the SEC or PAC-10 gets you a better bowl. Or you could simply be in the B12 North and play crappy teams all year and build up a great record.
