War Hogs start housecleaning after loss

 

POSSUM TROT, Ky. (BGP) - In an ongoing effort to improve a struggling franchise, the Possum Trot War Hogs today fired their ticket takers and ushers.

 

"We just didn't feel like they were aggressive enough with the fans and it carried over to the field. We need someone who will grab the ticket, rip it in half with authority, and shove it back to the fan. That makes them mad and we want mad fans in the seats," the War Hogs general manager said.

 

Ushers were accused of being too nice and helpful with the fans, which ultimately led to their dismissal.

 

"We are trying to preach aggressiveness within our organization. If someone doesn't know where they are supposed to sit for a game, grab their arm and lead them to their seat. If they don't sit in a matter of seconds, you sit them down," the GM said, adding that he is negotiating a deal with the local prison to have some of their more violent inmates serve as trustee/ushers at home games.

 

"Again, we want to assert aggressiveness and have it spill over to the field," he said.

 

When asked about the players and his job of assembling them, the GM responded "What do they have to do with wins and losses?"

 

Expect more housecleaning within the War Hog organization in the next few weeks as several concession stand workers were seen packing their personal effects after last week's dismal loss to the Richmond nWo Outsiders.

 

"Apparently, we weren't shoving the food across the counter hard enough," an unidentified worker said.
