Lets hear from some people around the program , going up are down ?

I'm not around the program, but see no reason the program would go down. They return all meaningful players except Klei, including Cundiff and Sandfoss, so I would think they would be looking at another big season.

They have some key players coming back but behind the starters there is no depth. Likely that 3 Frosh will dress Varsity mostly out of necessity. They seem to be like a lot of programs in that only a few steller players from each class continue on.

What or there steller players in the Jr. and Soph. and Frosh Class?

Ncc should be very good this year... I would say that sandfoss will be a much more mature player in her sophmore season... She must turn the ball over less and be stronger down the strech... It kinda worries me the fact that she is going all year long with Bball and softball, she has to get tired sometime and remember she is only a sophmore!!! But Cundiff should be stronger than ever this year and look to see a double-double average... But i do agree with the people saying that there is not very much depth there and that happened last year as well... Not to sure how good the freshman class was, but they have a very big hole to fill with losing Klei to graduation...Simms really needs to step up and play well this year, they really need someone to provide some leadership in th locker room...

Courrier Journal has Newcath ranked 5th in there preseason poll, but they are probally the 4th best team and on any given night can play with the top 3.... HHS is going to be one tough team to beat this year

just for future references - the second year of high school would be a sophOmore - you missed an 0. Not being cruel, just a note of reference

Simms is gone out of school I hear ?:walk:

Wow I have not heard that... But if that is the case that would be a huge loss

Up or Down? Stellar Players? I would have to say that from a follower of Girls High School Basketball perspective, what NCC is able to accomplish year in and year out puts it in a class with only the premier programs around the state....

Sandfuss, Tabor, Geisler, Schultz, Fryer's, Bartels, ect....The Stables are full for the Thoroughbreds!

Geisler needs to be able to make better decisions on the court this year and a more consistent shooter... Tabor could be a very good player after Cundiff leaves next year...

Why would Tabor have to wait until Cundiff is gone to be good?

Well i just feel that she will get alot more playing time when she leaves... Whittney is going to be in the spotlight this year and one of the regions best players... Tabor will learn alot from her

Based on what I know about NC's situation I dont see how they could sit Tabor. If she learns anything from Cundiff it's going to be while she's standing next to her helping her rebound.

Whats that situation , we would like to know ?

Don't think he was implying that. She will play and play a lot this year, and then next year it will be difficult to not have her on the floor 100% of the time.
