I will kinda agree with that... I don't know what it is but i feel that her footwork is not that good and she could have been better coached somewhere else... Last year she tended to travel alot... For the most part good guards come out of NCC not so much centers

First of all, where would that some where else have been. No school, other than ND has turned out any really good post players, and they just had Dickman. The fact that she has played with good guards only makes her better. If you are a post player without good guards you will die on the vine because you will never get the ball. That said, there are probably many players who may have been better at another school, but Whitney has had the opportunty to develop her skill against the absolute best players in the state and that is the only way you get better. Playing lesser competition would have helped her stats, but that doesn't make her a better player.

Look at the players that have come out of the NCC girls basketball program and are playing college ball. Over the last 10 years I would put their program up against any challanger. Keep in mind they don't have the numbers a program like Boone and ND have. No other coach in NCC's history has done as much as Coach McDonald has.

 

Just curious, what would make you and steelers happy? My guess is nothing.....

I do think that coach McDonald has done a fantastic job over the years... She is one of the best coaches in NKY... But most of her great players have been gaurds

In about the last 5 years she had chiodi went to NKU

Thiem went to EKU for 2 years and is now playing ball at thomas more

Klei went to Ball state and is a freshman now has played in all 9 games this year

You sound like a disgruntled parent or former parent that felt like their kid got slighted by the coach.

Let me say something good again Whitney is the best in the 9th , But IMO if she would have gone some place else to school she would have been better, IMO .:thumb::thumb:

It kills me when people think NDA as a top program.

They have 1 regional title in the last 20 years.

Shannon was a very good player while she was at NCC... Last year she led a team that was really not very good and was very young all the way to the All A state runner up...

 

NDA is a force every year they are someone that you have to worry about year in and year out

No knock I just donot think the girls got any better at NCC IMO . At the time they were coming to high school from ST.JOES I think Ray Kues would have done a better job with the girls , also Whitney .Now this is IMO . This is the last you hear from me ,Whitney Cundiff have a great year .
