This is a big rematch for these two rivals. I live in Richmond, and a few fans are thinking Madison Central might lose this time (I guess because they lost 4 of their last 5 games). Now that it's playoff time, it's going to come down to the coaching because you know the players on both sides are going to give their all. If GRC uses all of their weapons, spread the ball around, keep the playcalling mixed up, and bring their A-game on defense, then GRC should overpower MC and escape with a win.

What does everyone else think?

MC has lost 4 of 5...however, those losses were Scott County, Dunbar, Highlands, and Boone County....all teams that would (or have) beat GRC this year with maybe the exception of Dunbar. The four teams that beat the Indians were all very physical, and very smash mouth.....things that GRC is not.

As for this being a big rivalry, GRC hasn't held up their end of the bargain. Madison Central has lost one time to the cards since the mid 90's.

Madison Central 28-21.

GRC hasn't played to their full potential all year. With an all out effort by the seniors, and the line up changes that were made after the last time these two met, I don't see why Clark can't win by 14 points or better! The big question is which team shows up to play? It usually comes down in these early district games to who wants it the worst and is willing to leave it on the field.

I think GRC has held there own in the physical/smashmouth department. There hasn't been any other team they have played that has been physically dominating this year. Even Madison Central. While remembering that game in Richmond in Sept, it was more mental mistakes/turnovers that hurt GRC.

Both Madison Central and GRC are not the same teams that met in Sept. I don't think anyone should go ahead and pencil Madison Central into the next round. But also they should not pencil in GRC either. This game decides who goes on, and who goes home for good. Team that wants this in their hearts will leave the winner.

Running game is key for both teams.

GRC has a very good chance of pulling this "upset" if they come to play.

Oyeah, saving the best for last, this will be a dog:fight: with no mandatory requirements, but one, you hang your cleats up if you lose. It's hard to beat a good team for a 2nd time in the same season:sssh:I really think this one belongs to the Cards, here's why, the frist game was interrupted, and I will just hold it at that, this time there will not be any interruptions, and GRC,will come out and pull off the ultimate upset, but lots not say upset, I hate to use that word, when it dose'nt fit the concept,of who's really the best team.

I have seen both teams play against Scott County, GRC can win this game, Madison Central must play better against them than they did against Scott County. I believe it is GRC's to lose.

The game to watch will be the winner of this game and Scott County, I say this only because Shelby County has lost their quaterback. If he was healthy SC and Shelby county would be a game. If the winner of this games comes to play the game against Scott County could be a barn burner

GRC is the better team? Really? I thought these two played in week 5 and MC won by 3 TDs? I also didn't think there were any distractions for Clark County in that game?

I don't think there is much that seperates these two from a physical standpoint....however, coaching and the Indians overwhelming recent success against the Cards are a huge mental advantage....

Just keep telling yourself that.....In the regional basketball tourney last year, many Mason Co fans had the same mind set as you just posted...We all know how that tourned out.

Both of these teams have changed since week 5. Mentally, physically, and spiritually. It's easy to claim victory over a team that had lost the previous 5 games, but this team has rebounded and got some victories on the board and gained a great deal of confidence.

Madison Central has won many games against GRC in the past 15+ years, but that doesn't mean anything for this next game. Streaks are easlily broken and mean nothing. (See Navy win over Notre Dame this past weekend).

The Indians are a very talented team. No one can dispute that. But this is the playoff's and thinking that they are just going to roll over this team can come back to haunt them.

^So Clark County, at 3-7, and losing to this same team 7 weeks ago should be the favorite in Richmond?
