Physically, Manual dominated most of the game down low, and burned them deep. There was a dropped, wide-open TD pass and a muffed punt, or the margin would have been even greater. After some early nerves, Manual looked like the real deal last night.

Congratulations to the Manual Crimsons! Nice write up in the paper. It looked like a fairly convincing win.

 

I found it interesting that the last time Manual beat Male they lost to Manual's first round playoff opponent this year - PRP.

 

Great win at this time of the year for Manual - PRP will come out armed for Ram - Manual will need to keep their focus to advance past PRP.

For the record, whatever the final attendance was, Manual dominated in that catergory too. I was kinda disappointed with the Bulldog turnout, I have no idea why they didn't show up. Tons of Manual fans, the excitement that has built for this program in the past 10 years is great to see.

I thought the paper said 11,300 in attendance. It may not have been that high if the game was played at Manual Stadium, a great stadium but very little parking. (Does Manual Stadium hold 10,000?)

Thanks PH and Mrs. PH! This is a special game for us Manual and Male alumni and even though the Bulldogs might not agree I think it is vital to have both teams see success in this rivalry, we may yet see the Ghosts of the past in the games of the future as the interest in this rivalry grow. We may not play on Thanksgiving anymore but this is still an important game and this year's dominate Crimson win should breath some life into this Old Rivalry.

I think it does but it is dangerously full at that point it was nowhere near a packed house at Papa John's but it was safe and comfortable and the place was a rockin'. Papa Johns offers a buffer zone of the crunch zone and I think that keeps a lot of the silly stuff that happens along the crowded fence at Male or on the hill at Manual from taking place.

I Believe that was Joe's 1st year at Manual and a talented PRP freshman named JaJuan Spillman turned a short slant into a 70+ yard TD late in the game.

I think it does but it is dangerously full at that point it was nowhere near a packed house at Papa John's but it was safe and comfortable and the place was a rockin'.
