October 31, 200718 yr Here's my short list thus far: Jud Dunleavy - VPI Art Carmody - UL (won't win it, though he will likely get mentioned being a former winner) Colt David - LSU (has missed more than the others, but has a 15 yard rushing TD against UF) Kevin Eberhart - Colo (has hit 8 FG over 40 yards and a game winner -vs- OU) Thomas Weber - ASU (interesting stats, perfect from the field, including 4/4 over 40, missed one XP which was likely blocked)...(better stat, he is a freshman and is the only kicker that started on the roster at the beginning of the season)

I agree he was not a front runner early but he has been solid as of late. The 50 yarder in the wind at Happy Valley was impressive. If he continues to be consistent and the Bucks play in the NC that may determine if he wins any awards. On a personal note, I would rather it be Pettrey we were discussing.:lol:
