October 30, 200718 yr I'm glad for the win, but the offensive playcalling just baffles me. I hope changes are made after this season on that side of the ball. I'm in agreement (which is wrong this time of year! GO MANUAL! BEAT MALE!!!). Seriously, why isn't Brohm throwing more long passes? I mean, a seemingly more focused Mario Urrutia and Harry Douglas both on the field and the biggest pass we have is like 10 yards? On a good note, that mysterious #33 player showed some promise. But we've got to be able to workk with what we have... which is a great QB with great recievers. Somebody please explain WHY they aren't being put to use!
October 30, 200718 yr ram2003, It really is quite simple why Louisville isn't going downfield. The reason is not for lack of desire, it has to do with the fact that Louisville is now down 5 OL-men from last year. 3 this year alone. Add to that a thin RB core (which now seems to be turning itself around again), AND the fact that most teams are now selling out against the pass. Those reasons make it virtually impossible to throw the deep ball, that said Brian still completed a couple of balls that went for 25+. This does make the offense SEEM to be lackluster in its playcalling. Believe me, they are longing to go downfield. I firmly believe that with the 3-3-5 coming up next Thursday, that Louisville will be able to establish some sort of running game, and then exploit the secondary across the middle and in the deep boundries. They may not beat WVU, but with Allen, Bolen, Stripling, and Powell they should have fresh legs for the bulk of the game.
October 30, 200718 yr You're not going to hear this very often from me so, all you Rams, Deuce, TD, RM, and RP.....Great job Cards! Go ahead and win out, and cause some real drama in the BEast!

October 31, 200718 yr Much love....believe me, I am still rooting the Cats on...next year is a different story :fire: Exactly... once Keenan Burton is out of the picture, I'm not sure what I'll have left to keep an eye on with the Wildcats.
