October 25, 200718 yr The Irish have received their 2nd verbal from the USC weekend visits. 4-star RB Jonas Gray of Detriot Country Day H.S. has committed to Notre Dame. He is ranked #52 in the Rivals100, #3 RB, and #1 in MI. He was also being recruited by Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida, Louisville, Michigan etc.

October 26, 200718 yr No they wasn't...And well its Lou Holtz, he has picked Notre Dame to win every game this year. I mean I dont think he really thought that, but he is not going to go out and say that they will suck and lose since he had coached there. So I dont think we really cant take into account that Lou Holtz said they would be good..Most people who are not wearing blue and gold shades, knew this year would be a rough year. I know I really thought that this really could be an 0 and 8 team. I was suprised that they was even able to pull off one win so far..I do think they will get to 4 wins by the end of the year now, since the schedule is getting easier... 0-8 would have been amazing. The schedule is getting easier, but with the way they have played this year no game is going to be an easy one for ND.
