Knox Central 12 Madison Southern 7

Knox seems to be reeling now after the victory over Rock. They better get it going or their stay in the playoffs will be short lived.

Madison Southern was ahead in this game until the 4th quarter, when a MS player fumbled the ball on a kick return on the knox 21 yard line and Knox ended up scoring off that turnover, which really resulted in the win for Knox.

Can somone tell me if the Knox QB is out ? If so how long?

I was at this game and Madison Southern beat THEMSELVES. The Knox offense is really hurting. They were 3-4 stupid plays from being shut-out by the Eagles.

On a positive for M.S., Harding looked great tonight. What can I say? He is from Rockcastle ;)

K.C. Q.B. is out for the year. Knox has had several injuries over the last three weeks.

Q.B. has a broken hand out for the year. Fullback has a broken arm but is playing. Also they have a good tailback that has been out for a while. Phillips should be back for the playoffs. He is the tailback that is out.

I hope that Knox can heal up for the playoffs in that they have worked hard and it would be nice to be able to see them go full bore for the playoffs.

Madison Southern, with a 7-0 lead, had the game well in hand until a fumble led to a 12 point Knox Central TD?

Injuries have seriously limited the KC offense. The defense is still winning games.

How serious of a broken arm does the fullback have? Does he use a special cast for it? Just wondering. Alot of times the teams that stay healthy go the distance in the playoffs, depth becomes huge this time of year.

I didn't say that Southern had a 7-0 lead(where did you get that at?, I said they were ahead in the game. Knox scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter, but Southern was ahead 7-6, then Southern got the ball back but a receiver fumbled it on kick return on Knox 21 yd line, that was the break in the game for them, because Knox scored again. southern actually handled Knox well but lost it somehow themselves in the end, but not that Knox looked very good either. And....Southern has been plagued with injuries the whole season.
