"Gutsy" is French for "not intelligent but hey if it works....."

That Hester is one tough SOG.

Would he have been more intelligent if he'd kicked it and lost in OT? He believed in his players that they could get the job done. Easy to sit back and second guess when your not making the decisions. ;)

Great game LSU 5-5 on 4th downs

Now, at least, we're not catching a "mad" LSU team next week......

Great game both teams showed a lot of heart.

I noticed that the camera scanned the LSU fans once and a bunch of them were showing some obscene gestures. I made a note and noticed that the rest of the game they showed long distance shots of their fans.

Does anyone else think the challenge that Miles called on the kickoff return was stupid? I did. If he loses it, he has no timeouts with 10 minutes to go in the 4th. Besides, it was only 7 yards difference. And did anyone notice him giggling nervously the whole time the play was being reviewed? lol

You a coach?

I admire his onions for what he did. I thought it was absolutely stupid to challenge the ruling that the UF player was OOB on the kickoff return. Even though it was wrongly overturned (unless they have additional angles that we do not), it wasn't worth giving up your LAST TO for 7 yards that early in the 4th quarter.

The other calls were risky but they worked.

I can agree with the challenge. Not worth it for the small gain to be had. The rest of them fall into the category of "coaching decisions". I love that he had the stones to play to win and not play to not lose. I'm sure his players feel the same way. As a player, its great to know that your coach believes in you and what you as a team are doing, no matter what the circumstances.
