So is Auburn back to being a good team now or did nobody think Florida really deserved their high ranking this year?

Auburn is erratic. Nobody thought USF was good when they beat Auburn, then AU lost to MSU, and it was easy to dismiss both teams.

 

Since then, USF has shown that they're legit and they're getting respect. Auburn's victory over UF shows that they're not terrible (or at least not always).

 

If USF is #6, then maybe Auburn at #11 wasn't so far off, huh? Their game was closer than #6 Cal vs. #11 Oregon.

 

How about WVU, Louisville and Rutgers?? I'll give you UC and USF being legit if you give me WVU, UofL and Rutgers aren't.

I think Cal and Oregon are both very good teams, same for USF and Auburn. Except when Auburn lost to USF they were completely overrated and just a middle of the pack SEC team. Then here they are beating the almighty Gators at the Swamp. I just think it's funny. I'm not too worried about the polls though, they always seem to work themselves out for the most part at the end of the season.

The TO is not an issue in my opinion. Say he misses the first kick.... certainly it wasn't because of the whistle he didn't hear, he gets a mulligan. It can go either way.

Because it's a psychological barrier. If he makes a difficult kick, he's forced to replicate the kick. If he misses it, he's going to have that in the back of his mind. The point is, no team should be forced to produce a successful outcome twice in a row, unless they are at fault in some way.

 

You seem to have a problem with the coach for calling it. I don't. He didn't cheat. The rules give him the right to do so.

 

No team should have to be successful twice in a row? Interesting.

 

Do they move the goalposts back? Did they give him a square ball? Put lead in the ball?

 

I like the rule the way it is. It adds a lot of excitement and drama.
