Will they go undefeated in the regular season? Granted they haven't played the toughest competition yet but they destroyed Miami who embarrassed A&M. They're also averaging 61.5 points per game and allowing less than 10 points per game. They don't play Nebraska this year and I think Texas is overrated. I say they don't lose a game. Oh yeah, Rhett who?

Oklahoma's Schedule

They have a HUGE chance at going undefeated.

I'm going to say no, they will not lose a regular season game...

I'm going to say yes, but its either going to be today (against Texas) or in the Big 12 Championship game. On a side note, what a weak looking schedule (especially OOC). Miami winning out may make it look stronger, but who thinks Miami is going to win out???

The Texas game is in two weeks.

A thread like this also begs a question of mine.

Should a 1 loss Florida or LSU play in the National Championship over and undefeated Oklahoma team (assuming USC goes undefeated)??? Let's just say it plays out this way. I understand that there is a lot of football left though.

Ahh, I read it wrong since they played tonight. My bad.:thumb:

Good catch.

A few things.

Playing a solid mid major on the road and Miami OOC is now below what the other "powers" have shown early? Or is it easy to take that stance because they are rolling everyone? I did notice LSU makes a trip to Tulsa and hosted Va Tech. Sounds very similar.

With that said I don't think they go undefeated. We don't have a clue as to how they will play in a tight game, and I think inexperience gets them at some point. Just a guess says @ Texas Tech the week before Oklahoma State...

God I really hope not but they just might. I think they are better than Texas and unless they lose focus I doubt they do lose as much as that pains me to say.

Booster Sooner!

Umm.. you're comparing the the VT team that was ranked NINTH when they went to LSU to the unranked Miami team that OU beat?

VT is currently ranked 17, and Miami didn't receive a single vote in either poll.

Umm. Yes. Have you seen both VT and Miami play? They aren't that far apart regardless of how off the pollsters are. Auburn and Michigan ring a bell???

I voted No, Texas is having some internal problems and imo Oklahoma will run the table and play LSU, Fla. or USC for the National Championship.

Another Rambler brain fart:scared:  . I voted no and I meant Yes, imo they will go unbeaten and play for the NC.

Im excited to see this game. IMO, Texas should not be ranked as high as they are but nevertheless should still make for another exciting game.

Coming into the season, I knew the Sooners would be good; having returned some talent on the offense like Kelly and Patrick (who has done well in filling Peterson's shoes.) But I never expected Sam Bradford to lead a sterling offense that I believe is averaging 61.5 points a game. Thats just mind boggling.

So who do you have losing, USC or LSU? No way does Oklahoma get to the title game over either of those teams...
