Gallatin beat Trimble by 21 and Trimble beat Eminence by 46, so I say Gallatin by 67.

No way that Coach Browning lets this thing get that far out of hand. Coming off a big win at Trimble, I hope the Gallatin kids don't under estimate this team. :thumb:

Coach Browning wont let the score get that out of hand unless for some odd reason Gallatin's JV team can put up alot of points after they are put in the 2nd quarter.

What if Eminence passes the ball all first half? Will he tell his kids not to go for the interception? What if the first half takes 2 hours? Will he not want to practice his varsity under game conditions for more than a quarter?

It is easy to say he won't let things "get out of hand". However, it is not always as easy as it seems.

Isn't this Gallatin's first season in varsity football, If so, they are putting together quite a program.

I believe it's their first year of district play second year of varsity football. You are correct they are doing a fine job.

I was only stating that he won't run up the score intentionally to build stats or to make himself look good. I was also saying merely saying that his JV team SHOULD be playing by the 2nd quarter IF his varsity squad plays the way they are capable of playing. And by playing the JV, this will allow less of a chance for a varsity player to get injured.

I see your point, but you also have to relize he does not keep starters in late to run up their stats, or try onside/pouch kicks with big leads like some coaches do. Now if it were me calling the shoots it may be differnt.

Does any one know Gallatins record this year. Is it 3-1 or 2-2...i know they were beat by Frankfort for sure but that is the only team i know that has beat them for sure.

3-1

You need to get over the pooch kick it was in the first half. After half with a big lead I would agree. Most coaches unless it's totally out of hand will play their varsity until halftime.

I understand your points. However, some of those things that you mentioned that "other" coaches do...well, they may seem that way sometimes, but things are not always what they seem.

It's called working on things. Never know when you might need them later in the year. Ask Chuck Smith how many times he did it while at Boyle CO. It was in the 1st half the score was 21-0.

Don't be suprised if the Warriors don't put up a better fight. Coach Fromeyer has been doing this for a while. He will find a way to get his kids to play.
