Then it may be time for re-evaluation. This may result in high schools losing athletes that decide to market themselves and play AAU rather than HS ball.

If a kid can play college coaches will find them. I personally have never seen or heard of a girl picking a major college or mid major who chose not to play on their HS team so they could play exposure tournaments or AAU.
