The scheduling grid has district games spread throughout the season. Next week is district games, and this week can be. Kinda odd, but that is what the KHSAA wants.

Nice piece on Mickey Brown's comeback this year from his motorcycle injury in today's Daily Independent. Brown has always been a "headhunter" on defense for the Devils. It's good to have him back on the field.

No steam lost. They just could not find an Ashland player with a broken leg that came back. They have to throw Russell in to keep the circulation up.

 

Also if you think the steam is lost lets see who is on the front page of Saturdays paper. I would bet on Ashland. Time will tell.
