I think Russell wins easily.

Is this a district game so early?

Yes

42-6

Russell can name the score this week, so long as they aren't looking ahead...:sssh:

This one will depend on McGlone. How long will he punish West's defense ? This will be a good game for filling out Russell's highlight reel.

Russell 58

West Carter 7

The scheduling grid has district games spread throughout the season. Next week is district games, and this week can be. Kinda odd, but that is what the KHSAA wants.

Russell 56

West 14

Next week is a non-district game for Russell as they play Ashland.

Ashland will have played 4 non-district games to start the season and 5 of their first 6 are non-district games.

^It depends on, how many teams are in the district. I was only going on the KHSAA site.

About have way down the page on the right there is a link to the live broadcast on WLGC.

Nice piece on Mickey Brown's comeback this year from his motorcycle injury in today's Daily Independent. Brown has always been a "headhunter" on defense for the Devils. It's good to have him back on the field.

No steam lost. They just could not find an Ashland player with a broken leg that came back. They have to throw Russell in to keep the circulation up.

Also if you think the steam is lost lets see who is on the front page of Saturdays paper. I would bet on Ashland. Time will tell.
