That may be the most comical quote I've ever read.

Glad to make you laugh! We all need a laugh every now and then!!!

You have all be warned once. No personal jabs at one another. Take it to PMs if you so choose.

McCloud and Griffith are both as good as Yeast thats not the point. The point is that McCloud and Griffith werent running the ball as strong as Yeast. Thats why he got so many carries not as punishment to the other 2 backs but because he was running hard. All the backs are goin to have to do job that is correct not just a selected one for the game but if somebody does the job and gets it done why not let him do the job again and again until he doesnt get the job done?

How about we look at it this way?! Mercer won the other nite against a very tough 4A team out of Greeneville, TN. All of players were faced with a little adversity, by turnovers, being down, not scoring once after a 77 yard, very time consuming drive....yet to not give in, hold Greeneville on downs, get the ball back and drive 50 yards in 3 minutes to score in the waining seconds of the ballgame.

How about we look at that, instead of looking back at how many carries some didn't get and that another got too many carries...looking at it that this young, inexperienced bunch of Titans passed a huge adversity and toughness test the other nite with a win. I can promise you this, Jordan Yeast, Matthew McCloud, Trevor Short, Nathan Griffith, etc. aren't arguing over this. Those kids are happy that THEIR team got the win. I think it's time that some grown adults take their perspective and do the same and quit knitpicking at something so elementary this early on.

All of the running backs mentioned and QB Trevor Short are all going to shine this year, every game, in some form or fashion...whether it happens to be on defense one nite, blocking, carries, TD's, etc; possibly even on multiple categories on a given nite(s). Last time I checked, the Greeneville game was August 31, it's now September 4th, with the Lincoln County game in 3 days. Translation....it's time to move on.
