If Fairview can stop East's qb, the game is over. But luckily for East I don't think Fairview has to speed to do this.

By the way this game is a big one for the Rams, their next two opponents on their schedule.

Is East a good enough team to give teams like Belfry and Russell a good hardnosed 4 quarter game?

 

Their win over Boyd makes me think they are. Thoughts?

I don't know how well East can stack up with Russell or Belfry. I do know that they had a scrappy squad last season and returned 9 starters on both sides of the ball. I don't know why they would have scheduled Belfry unless somebody thought they could compete. So I am guessing the Raiders think that they can play with anybody on the schedule and based on their schedule that would mean that they think they will be competitive against anyone in the 3A. I think that Mason, Russell and Belfry are all in the top 5 and all on the East Carter schedule.

I tend to agree. What I meant earlier by saying a "4 quarter game" was that East would be able to make teams like Belfry keep their 1's on the field all night and fight hard, even if winning by 3-4 TD's.

 

I really like scheduling that game now.

win, lose or draw I would be surprised if East doesn't compete for the entire game.

East Carter is the real deal this year. This one will be another "W" in the column for the Raiders.
