So we're playing the #4 team in the country, I can live with that.

No Kentucky teams listed in the top 25, but two teams in the top twenty-three in the nation.

I did not see any KY teams. I looked twice. Who were they?

Number 13 on the National Top 25 list is Summerville, S.C.

Good friends grandson is on this team and they will be on National TV Sat. August 25 at 12:00 Noon on ESPN.. They will play a team from Florida.

Love this world we live in when we in KY can watch a friends grandson play football on TV in SC.. LIVE.

I love being able to see HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME ON ESPN

If Trinity can win that big game, without slipping up beforehand, against Cincy X, you will see them move right on up these rankings, I did see another national poll where we were 7th in our region.

I'll be pulling for you guys against X, but that will be a tough one, they are stacked!

^ I know...we need some breaks.

Wow, playing a 4th rank team nationally. Should be a good game to watch. I noticed OH is well represented in the nation poll....

No Kentucky teams listed in the top 25, but two teams in the top twenty-three in the nation.

Sorry. Should have typed: No Kentucky teams listed in the top 25, but two Cincinnati teams in the top twenty-three in the nation.

Colerain has their QB back. He was a big difference maker against St. X last year. They may give X all they want and more when the playoffs roll around. Not having Combs might expand Colerain's offensive production.

During my stint in Florida we played Pahokee twice (# 14 in the nation) and they are everything advertised if not better. The Receiver, Odem, should be the highest touted receiver in the nation. His speed, quickness and leaping ability are like no other player I have ever seen or played against. They have a football factory at Pahokee... several starters off the 2005 team that we faced are starting at various division I schools across the nation such as Pittsburgh, Georgia, Cal and of course FIU - FAU and Miami. The strangest thing I have ever seen was the fact that when we left Pahokee they defeated us 38 - 7 and on the way out there were a group of high school kids at a corner store that could have easily been Division I football players... these we're the ineligible students. The kids there are made for football! I wish them luck and hope they continue to dominate Florida football. They play with heart, desire and most importantly... CLASS!

Surprised to see Hoover Alabama not metioned anywhere, they must have loss quite a few players or the competition has just closed the gap some. I am sure they are ranked very high within the state.
