strongopenyon Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Rumor has it, the Creekers will be throwing the football this year. I am anxious to see if what I have been hearing for twenty years now, comes to be. They have had the skilled athletes to successfully throw the football for quite sometime now.
Bright Horizons Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Tates Creek will probably have a long year this year. Their defense has looked sharp so far, but their offensive transition has been lacking in their scrimmages. If TC is going to be successful this year they will need to rely on Ty Sparks once again. Tates Creek just doesn't have the skill players to spread the field this year. Watch out for Rozell James and his transformation from QB to RB/WR however, if he successfully adapts TC may have found the weapon they desperately need right now.
Camel Fan Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 What about the Camels? I heard their offense is much better this year especially with Eten moving to tight end and d-back. Coaching staff is impressive also.

SilverShadow Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Understanding the qb for Tates is very athletic but has not played for a few years means the first Friday night might be a little challenge. This game may well come down to ball control/time of possession, which means the most disciplined team will prevail. If the Camels have the focus to win, they win. Control the ball, limit the turnovers the Camels will prevail 20 - 7.
ALLSTAR MVP Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Camels role big in this one, This is not a matter of who controls the ball or what have you. This is about understanding a challenge and then executing the game plan. The attitude is not we hope to win, it is we expect to win and win big. The Camels have some real good athletes and some good young athletes and i Know that Coach styers has prepared these boys for some fun football on Friday. Campbell 42 Tates 7

Campbell 42 Tates 7 Time of possession and ball control is not important against an opponent that hangs its hat on speed?! Uh, OK?! But I hope your score is right.
ALLSTAR MVP Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Time of possession and ball control is not important against an opponent that hangs its hat on speed?! Uh, OK?! But I hope your score is right. What you have to remember is that the old slow camels are in the past. This is the new generation of camel football. I've seen some great speed on our team as well, so they have to stop us and worry about what our speed is about. All i'm saying is is that to me from the stands this team looks like a total package, you have everything on that field you would want on a team and confidence outways alot of other stuff. I think playing a team like ryle and knowing that you could have beat them and seeing what they did last year is a big boost. Understanding that you have to play discipline and be physical is the way it gets done. I think these kids understand now how it's done and having a balanced attack can't hurt niether. My prediction still stands. :thumb:
ALLSTAR MVP Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 That's simply outrageous. No way this ridiculous score happens. I'm not sure if you have traveld out and watched the camels practice or play, but all i know is that their is talent here. Why can't you have a possitive outlook , i mean your name is bright horizons is it not. We will see. :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Additionally if you had been out and watched TC then you would know Campbell Co. will not beat them by 35 points.
