I saw a kid from Somerset on D that impressed me. He was pretty quick and a good sized player with a high motor. Since we're up against the Jumpers at the Correll Bowl, he looks pretty good on the D-Line. What's his story.

 

Haven't seen Somerset in a couple of years and worked in London Friday night so I thought I'd peek at our opponent. Never heard of him but he hits hard.

Just wanted your opinion on some of the Somerset kids other than Cole.

By the way, I agree with you about the N. Laurel coaches. They were fired up and had the kids in the game all night and were teaching every chance they could. Fine staff IMHO.:thumb:

4 new assistants. The 4 who left had some job issues (3 were non school employees and 1 is an employee). All left for job related issues. I know they all love the game, but IMHO, Blair will be missed the most. He did an outstanding job with the DB's last year. But the 4 who came in (Roark, Mills, Collier and Dagley are excellent and will get the program back on track IMHO. They are still very young, but the numbers are very encouraging. A LOT of frosh/sophs will be starting or seeing varsity time this season which bodes well for the future.

MT, how would you stop Somerset in your opinion? Where are the strengths and weaknesses?
