Did anyone see the Greenup Co. Freshman team vs. Rose Hill's Freshman team? How did Greenup Co. do?

Lost by alot. I'm not sure of the final score, but I think it was 30+

Did anyone look good? If they were beaten by that much--doesn't look like anyone was exceptional, but maybe someone did something.

Personally, I thought the Williams boy had the ability and length to score more, but just wasn't as aggressive as RH and he was denied the basketball as well. He has the potential to be very good IMO.

He could use a good dose of how to use your tail like Boo used to!!!

I thought Greenup looked pretty good in the first half, but they kind of ran out of gas during the 3rd quarter. I agree Williams looked like he has some talent.

I understand that the Justice boy was the best shooter on the team--scored 3-3s and was taken out the last quarter and put on the bench. Any reasoning to this?

Was the game out of hand going into the fourth quarter?

Yes RosE Hill started to pull away. Ended up being somewhere around 65-25.

Well, the Elliot game is behind you, so you will have to just move on. Looks like you have 2 freshman that are going to be of big help. Williams did well, however he did foul out. The radio announcers said Justice did good while he was in the game. Two points,2 assists, and 2 rebounds with limited playing time. Wishing the coaches and players the best for the rest of the seasonn.

GCHS Freshmen team is missing a Brown kid. For some reason he chose not to play basketball this year. He around 6'2" 200 pounds. He has ability push around a few kids around the basket. Also there another kid last name of Spence that didn't play for some reason around 6'1" or so. I don't they would make up forty points though! LOL:creepy:

Did they come out for the team and meet all of the preseason requirements or did they just decide not to play this season?

Greenup will NEVER be able to play the run and gun style of Coach Leach. The players are there this year like every year to play a strong half court game on both ends of the floor. No 16th region team has the athletes year end and year out to press for 32 min. Also the 16th is not a big AAU area so most kids are not playing year around which limits skill developement.

Slow it down on offense, play a little d, rebound and GC is more than likely the 63rd districts best team this year.

Have you seen Elliott County the past couple of years?

Decided not to play. Brown did not tryout. Not certain about Spence I think there was a family issue.
