Who will be Coach Leach's starting 5?

I'd say the starting five for Greenup Varsity will be; Perry, Baker, Middleton, Craft and Adkins. Just my opinion.

I think thats a tough starting 5 then off the bench you have....Tussey,Newberry,Stevenson,and Plummer

Is that 1 returning starter?

Is that 1 returning starter?

Even if it is only one returning starter, based on last years fiasco, that could be a good thing!

I would normally agree but the JV was not dominate either, this years freshmen should be special but not ready to contribute to the varsity

Why do you say the jv wasn't dominate.......they only lost like 5 games

They lost the 3 games I saw and were badly out played

Has anyone seen Greenup Co. practice? What do you think they will have with the team they now have practicing?

Run-N-Gun

Coach Leach is making them shoot 2 to 3 hours of just shooting everyday. They are going to be a threat from behind the arc with Middleton and Adkins.

Two or three hours a day? Tough to believe...............

Yes they've really been shooting that much ive seen.

One of the mistakes many HS coaches make, they fall in love with their system (plays) and forget what the game is all about. It is shooting, dribbling and rebounding. These are the major skills HS coaches should concentrate on! It sounds like the new coach has one of these three items figured out. Many old school coaches practice their offense to-death and neglect to teach the "skills" needed to play the game.

I just can't see GCHS out scoring many teams this year, maybe in a few
