Boone County's own Corry Farris who hit a mammoth three run Home Run in the top of the sixth to put away the Legends. Corry also hit a double in his first at bat in the second inning. Do you really think it would have slipped Old Guy's mind if he had?

I think there would have been a press release issued by OG, right?

Someone needs to check on TOG.

The Old Guy is working.

Midland beat Team Texas 7-1 yesterday. Playing East Cobb Yankees as we speak.

So Luke has'nt played the last two games ? I guess he must be concentrating on the Golf team he's coming back to on Monday( a little comic relief) !!!!

Baseballguy is correct, I am working (12 hour shift) and even working on Sat. and Sun, as we have staff on vacation and out sick. I was told that Luke has not played. In last nights game (Wed), Midland was up 2-1 against the East Cobb Yankee's, in the third when I had to get some sleep. Was also told (not sure it is correct, but again it is what I was told) that if Luke plays as a "catcher" he would be the "youngest catcher" in the history of the Connie Mack World Series to play the position. Luke and Corry have become friends, and both families took some time off together, and did some site seeing the other day.....

Midland 4 Eat Cobb Yankees 3
