July 28, 200719 yr The NFL is going to have to come out with a reason for doing this. If he missed a drug test, as speculated by some, the NFL is not allowed to comment on the situation. Therefore, the only way we will find out the truth is if Odell or his agent find the reasoning from the NFL and let the public know about it.
July 28, 200719 yr We found out about the other one he missed and his agent didn't come out with that one.
July 28, 200719 yr The NFL is going to have to come out with a reason for doing this. I disagree with you. I think we have to trust the NFL powers that be to make the "right" decision on these type of issues. If the player/agent want to reveal the "why" then they can but I don't think the NFL is under any obligation to tell all.
July 28, 200719 yr If there is a suspension and then an appeal how can they not come out with a reason? I trust there judgment also because I don't think they would do it for no reason. I would just like to know.
July 28, 200719 yr I would like to know too. I also would like to tour Area 51... Apples and Oranges.
July 28, 200719 yr Apples and Oranges. Not at all. You have to trust the government to do the right thing just like you have to trust the NFL and in both cases it is not our right to know all but most of us would like to know all.
July 28, 200719 yr Who pays his salary? I feel like I have a right to know. All I can say is 20 years from now I bet you change your mind. Without getting too far off topic in the case of the government it is about national security. Would play poker if every other player could see your hand?
July 28, 200719 yr The Government and the Bengals are a totally different thing. I help to pay this man to play football. He isn't allowed to play because of "something" we don't know about. Just seems a little odd IMO.
July 28, 200719 yr The Government and the Bengals are a totally different thing. I help to pay this man to play football. He isn't allowed to play because of "something" we don't know about. Just seems a little odd IMO. Just because you watch movies do you have a right to know where all the movie stars live/stay while they are shooting a film? After all, you are paying a part of their salary... You have zero rights to know about anything the NFL decides to do in the Thurman case and you have zero rights to know about lots of things the government does.
July 28, 200719 yr Once again I don't see what the Government and the Bengals have in common. They RUN our country and protect us. The Bengals are for entertainment.
