yes old guy that is who Towles is. He has a lot of potential. Did well for the Bluegrass organization this year and it is unfortunate he will be most likely joining the colonels and leaving bluegrass. But you gotta do what you gotta do and I know Bluegrass wishes him well.

Thank you for the information.....

The Midland Fury 16U team has one opening (possibly two) for the 2008 season. They are only holding private tryouts for anyone interested. The team tied for first place in the SWOL NL this past year as a 15U club and finished in the top 8 of the Buckeye Elite Classic (38 15u teams from all over East and Midwest). They were without question one of the top 15U clubs in the Tri-state area this past summer. If interested, call Todd Pugh at 586-9577 or Dan Carney at 384-1176. Players may not turn 17 before May 1, 2008.

Did anyone hear who the group of players were to make the Colonels?

E.J. Murrey (Scott)

Brady Slusher (Beechwood)

Thomas Towles (Highlands)

Mike Sullivan (Holy Cross)

David Oetchide (Sp?) (Ryle)

Thats all that I know of...

So they only took 5 players... I had heard they needed a few more- up to 10.

Kings 18u tryouts showed tons of talent. Some 75-80 kids showed up for the two day event. Bobby Mullins and Marty Connor sure know how to bring them in.

Talent from all area High Schools ..Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Kings should once again be a Top team next year!!!!
