June 29, 200719 yr If he has ANY plans on playing ANYWHERE he should get to Lansing. If he decides that football is no longer for him.... Lansing would be a great place to play. no doubt about it but IMO as long as he stays in school and works toward his degree, it doesn't matter what University he attends. I do not know him but I have watched him play. His size is impressive. Others have questioned his work ethic so that may come into play. I only hope he makes the decision that is right for him and his future.

Agreed. My point was assuming that he still wants to play D1 football. Don't screw up the LOI requirements and cost yourself a year of eligibility.
June 29, 200719 yr We played them twice and other than being an impressive physical specimen there was nothing about his game that said division one. As I have said on here before we had a kid block him one on one all night and he's playing division 3. So my guess is if your that impressive physically and you don't dominate 1A ball you must not work very hard.

I have skills in certain areas that I don't utilize because they're of no interest to me. Just because the young man is big and CAN play doesn't mean he HAS to play.
