June 22, 200719 yr We got about 1/4 of an inch of rain earlier this week in Booneville, but it's still drier than a bone. Everything's parched, and the creeks are nearly dry. We need several days of a slow, soaking rain. These little pop-up thunderstorms just don't get the job done....but they're better than nothing at all.

June 26, 200719 yr Author Finally, some rain. Thursday is being predicted to be an all day soaker. Most of Ky is being listed as being in severe drought. Come on rain !
June 26, 200719 yr For the past two days the rain has gone north or south of of here in Owsley County. :irked: Folks are getting rain all around us in neighboring counties. Maybe we can have our turn in the next few days.
June 26, 200719 yr Well we have gotten rain (SOME) in Morehead 3 days in a row. It is just enough to water the plants. No puddles after it quits. Well :banana:
June 26, 200719 yr Everyone all around us had some rain yesterdy - only a few sprinkles here. Today the heat is really supposed to kick in with temps. in the mid 90's and heat index's in triple digits.
