June 13, 200719 yr He hit 99 mph on pitch 110. When he's on he is flat out nasty... :thumb: and still throwing 100+ in the 9th along with a wicked breaking pitch to go along with it!! :scared: The guy can flat out pitch (and that is the understatement of the year).
June 13, 200719 yr I hope he stays healthy for his career. Baseball is so much better with pitchers like Verlander. It seems like too many of the up and coming great pitchers spend most of their good days on the DL. I like seeing high scoring games but I don't think it gets much better then watching a dominant pitcher that is on, hitting his spots, and making great batters look foolish.
