June 7, 200719 yr With the 2nd pick in the NBA draft, the Seattle Sonics select........excuse us while we check the bench press totals.... Look at Thorton's specs, 41.5 inch vert, w/ a 7'1" span at 6'7" with great speed. This guy came on after the early injury, he could be a solid player at the next level.
June 7, 200719 yr They said Durant couldn't even bench 185 one single time on Mike and Mike this morning!!! In a few days his check book will weigh more than 185.
June 7, 200719 yr Not a chance. It would either be Brendan Wright, who didn't exactly impress anyone, or a random Chinaman. We've seen Durant get it done against the best college has to offer, he'll be fine.To quote the Big Lebowski, Chinaman is not the prefered nomenclature.
June 7, 200719 yr Brandan Wright and Kevin Durant are still 2 great players whether they can bench 185 40 times or 0. It doesnt matter in this sport. And no way Horford goes before Brandan Wright.
