Has anyone ever been to a game at Bellarmine? I know they are now playing Division I, but I think they're at the very bottom of the division.

I've seen them play and they are pretty darn good. I don't know how they stack up in D I but I do know they recruit from all over the country and even other countries.

I've thought about going several times and I think I will next year. I didn't mean for my previous post to be a knock on Bellarmine; I think they have been in transition from lower level to Division I over the last couple of years. They should have continued success over the next few years. Hopefully they can snag some of these good young players around Louisville and Covington.

:thumb: I understood what you were saying. Here is a link to the team page. There isn't much besides recaps of games but if you look at the roster you can see the recruiting that they do.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. It looks like they get their conference foes at home, but had to travel to all of the big boys!

About lacrosse, here's a good article from NBC sports about how lacrosse is becoming so popular and even a "revenue sport."

Thank you for sticking up for my Cavs. :thumb:

And in other lacrosse news:

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The NCAA has granted Duke's request for an extra year of eligibility for its men's lacrosse players following rape allegations that led to the cancellation of much of last season.

The decision affects 33 players who were not seniors during the 2006 season, and it grants them a fifth year of eligibility regardless of whether they play at Duke or another school. The announcement Wednesday came just two days after the Blue Devils lost to Johns Hopkins by a goal in the NCAA championship game.

I am so happy...they will look to be the early favorites next season.
