Theoldguy Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 In today Lexington Herald Leader, in Mike Fields column he wrote: Covington Catholic sophomore catcher Luke Maile has driven in 65 runs this season. That puts him in the top 10 in the state record book. Topping the list is Brandon Gupton of Taylor County, who had 83 RBI in the 2001 season. So Maile in his sophomore year of high school baseball, is in the KHSAA record book as a top ten RBI member. Not bad, not bad at all.... Congrats Luke..... http://www.kentucky.com/289/story/79421.html Thanks for the tip JustLetMplay.....
ColonelNation32 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Question for everyone. They said the leader has like 82, is that just the regular season or is it both regular season and playoff. If so do you think could beat the record.
DMZ76 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 If CC runs deep he may have a shot. If anybody has scouted them, he won't see a pitch to hit....for the next couple of years!

stickymitts Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 65 RBI's, 44 Hits, 11 Doubles, 6 Home Runs, 10 SB's, 32 runs scored and at least 10 bat flips... Pretty good season...
