I'm planning on seeing them sometime within the next year because we all know Maynard and Tool doesn't tour that often.

On that note I went and saw Zakk Wylde and BLS at Coyotes (Louisville) back a couple months ago and it was without a doubt the best show I had seen in a while.

If you really want to tear up, check out "In This River" on the BLS Doom Tripping Europeon Invasion Tour DVD. In Paris he rips the most unreal "In This River" performance ever.

I was reading this thread and saw the name Zakk Wylde and BLS.

I heard the song "fire it up" on the radio and I liked it,

so I bought it on ITUNES.

What would be a good first album to buy of theirs?

Won't see Tool, I'm gearing up to go to Ozzfest in Indianapolis. Get a chance to see Lamb of God and Behemoth for the first time. Hatebreed for the 2nd time.

With that said, the Tool show will be amazing. I saw them in Huntington and I heard a rumor they didn't like the response they got there, I'm kind of surprised they are coming back. I guess the rumor wasn't true.

I may be partial but you can't go wrong buying any Black Label Society album. If you like the harder BLS stuff then you should buy one of the first albums such as 1919 Eternal. If you like something a little more slowed down, but still good, the new album "Shot to Hell" is nice. However, my favorite all around BLS album is "Mafia".

My girlfriend got me tickets for my birthday to the July 7th show in Huntington. This will be my first Tool concert and I am beyond pumped. I have heard that they put on an AMAZING live show. Can't wait.
