If the kid you are talking about from Grant County is Tyler Jones he was a heck of a player.

Was an excellent high school player but couldnt cut it at Miami or Georgetown College.

Could not cut it because he wasnt good enough or just did not adjust well to college? A lot of players have outside circumstances as to why they do not make it and has nothing to do with their basketball ability.

Let's face it. He wasnt a great talent, he just put out a lot of effort. That doesnt necessarily get it done at the next level.

That was a serious question. I know nothing about him and have never seen him play so I was just curious which it was. Hey we all know players who don't make it with the capabilities to be great. ex: Josh Brock from Bell Co.

 

As for the thread, Haddix is athletic enough and skilled enough to make it at Miami(Ohio). Its good to see a happy ending come to the story for him.
