Coach Vanderhoof (Hall of Fame 2004) seems to be making some great calls. Nice to see a D-1 college coach in the stands watching a Ram play tonight. Rams also got a couple of poor calls that took at least 1 run off the board tonight.

Morehead was at the game tonight watching. Rams play a good game tonight, not their best but a good game. They hit the ball well off 3 differnt Greenup Co. pitchers. Martin,Phillips,Carver,Grizzle, and Deskins all had multiple hits. Grizzle went the full 7 innings for the Rams. As Blue Blazer said, that is 7 in a row for the Rams, looks like they are getting into the "swing" of things at the right time. Keep working hard every day and good things will happen come tourny time. Play at home against East Carter tomorrow at 5:30.

Who pitched for Greenup? Glad to see Raceland get a Win as 007 said it may not have been their best but it was better than Greenup. Wasn't there but glad to see mutiple players with multiple hits. What about the couple of bad calls? Glad to hear that there was a college coach there to see a Ram player. I didn't realize that Grizzle was having doubts about football, WHY? He was a good Quarterback/player for the Rams, and he has done a good job for the Baseball Team too I just thought it was a done deal with football. Anyway GREAT WIN for the RAMS, hope to see/Hear of it continue, won't be able to see due to work, keep posting info.

It is good to see the Rams get the lumber hot. As you said MVP007, if they keep working and playing one out at a time good things can happen for this Team.

Great win for the Rams. This will be a huge confidence builder for them heading down the stretch to te districts! GCHS is a quality basebll team and a well coached one also. I guess the H.O.F. Coach Vanderhoof made some good calls with all his years of experience :sssh: . Congrats again to Raceland's Rams and to Coach Vanderhoof on the win . At this point it is jmo but all the teams have seen the opposing pitching through the season and through the years with the h.s. seasons and summer ball. Not a lot of secrets left, just have to execute.

It just happened to be Grizzles turn to pitch in the rotation. I really dont think Coach Hoof was worried about G.C. seeing him in the regular season. Like Oldrambler said, there really isnt alot to hide. These kids have been playing against each other since little league. They know what to expect from each other.

Good job Scott, I've always felt your future was in baseball. I've told you that many times. You can have a future in baseball, but are a little short for the QB spot beyond small college football. Baseball may take you beyond the college level. Congrats. I'll be back to watching games when I get back from Texas. :dancingpa

:thumb: You are absolutely right RB8. One thing is for sure is that if you don't win the first game of the district you are not going any further , there is no tommorrow in that scenerio.
