Well....Truth is, even as a small child, I loved the sound of a vacuum cleaner. According to my mother, I used to follow her around when she vacuumed and would lay down right behind it. I guess it's just something that's never left me, except now I don't follow it around and lay down behind it.

You are not going to believe this but when my son was a baby he had terrible colic . . . every day at about the same time he would begin his uncontrollable wailing. After numerous attempts to stop his screaming (so that we could get some sleep) we discovered turning on the vacuum cleaner calmed him down. We decided instead of burning the motor out we would record the sound. We took the tape everywhere . . . we called it his rap tape. It gave us back our sanity. It worked like a charm everytime!:thumb:
