Yes, 2 innings on Sat., 2 innings in first on Sunday and then 11, for the 2nd game on Sunday, if your not exceeding your 15 innings, in a 7 day period.

Also, a large bag of ice, would also be needed.

Thanks Strike 3 .I agree with the ICE .

That's fine if you have a closer that comes in every game and throws maybe 10 pitches an inning, 20 for the game, but this kid is kind of wild and if he is throwing 60 pitches every outing, thats 900 pitches for his 15 innings allowed.

I would be concerned.

I wouldn't allow it, for the record.

I did see a team, whose starting pitcher, was removed in the 1st inning. His replacement, then went 4 2/3 and closed the game.

On the second game, of the DH....that's right, same starter and he went 3-4 innings and guess who relieved him again, same guy who went 4 2/3, in game one.

This year, by the way.

Was told that player and parent agreed to it. I would think that the coaches know better than that wouldn't you. They continued to ask and he was good to go. They kept track of his pitches and they felt as coaches it was the right thing to do. I guess if you look back, if they would have pulled him, the outcome would have been different. Also if he would have done better that one inning then the coaches would have been right. And the so called parent would be happy. Easy to point fingers isn't it.

Agree the coaches know best, or at least should know best....But 60 pitches against Ryle and at least that many, maybe more against CovCath..... That 120 pitches.....not counting the game on Saturday.... No wonder the parent was grumbling......aloud.....

I thought he pitched pretty well the first few innings .He did throw alot in the inning CCHS scored the runs .

In re the grumbling parent. Was it the player's parent? If so, it may mean something, but not much. If it was some other parent, it means even less. Goodness, gracious TOG, surely you don't base coaching decisions on the reactions/judgments of parents and fans do you?

By the way, those little Birdies playing baseball have given CovCath some pretty good competition this year haven't they. Still feeling sorry for them?

After having seen HHS play twice this year aganist CCH, I think their coach deserves a pat on the back. They are playing much better baseball and can no longer be taken lightly. But I am sure they didn't need a pep talk since they were playing the Colonels. Still, they are playing much better.

Good to see the baseball team generating some buzz. It's been a while.
