Antonio Owens?

Anyone know what Owens status is now..Is he still at Dunbar and is he looking to sign with a college to play ball. He was a superb player at Boyd Co and would hate to see him fade away.

I see him at the Ashland YMCA fairly often, not really sure what his plans are.

According to the kentuckypreps staff article Owens was a senior in 2006.

I think that he may have attended a prep school, I am not sure though. Outstanding player for Boyd County last year.

He played his last season in '05-'06 for Boyd Co. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he left Boyd shortly after basketball season and needed extra credits, his eligility as a hoopster ended last season.

Owens was ineligible to play b-ball this year, but I thought he attended Dunbar to get his degree.

Owens will be attending Morehead State in june, he has been running with the team already. Owens will do well at Morehead this will hit the paper soon.:thumb:

A friend of mine had said that Antonio was looking to maybe go there, I hope he does great. If he had been able to play in the region for three years it is hard to say what kind of numbers he might have put up.

^ I think so too. Over the past ten seasons he was the best package of athletic ability and basketball ability I have seen out of Boyd County High School and that is saying something with some of the talent they have had there.
