I hate to see a situation where a coach has to take a team back to where he used to coach, and then have to play on the same court which will be named for him. Talk about awkward.:creepy: At least Roy williams is not coaching in the same conference where he once coached. That makes it a little easier. I see where you're coming from, but, think of this..UF wouldn't have named the court after hin had he opted to go to UK, so, that wouldnt have been an issue...Still a little awkward though, I agree...I don't blame UK, however, for trying to get him.. He's a pretty hot commodity right now...After alls said and done though, I'm happy with the coach we got...I think he'll work hard to bring UK back to where it wants to be...

A lifelong Georgetown fan, the 6-11, 220-pound standout at National Christian Academy (Fort Washington) was a virtual Georgetown lock before the team's frontcourt glut prompted him to switch his recruiting focus to Connecticut and Cincinnati. If McClain gets his academics in order, Georgetown would be a natural fit for the national top-50 recruit and one of the few blue-chip big men still unsigned.
