Happens to me in the sports world all of the time...

 

I get this, but to an extent it really is true with sports... When the Seahawks made the Super Bowl, I was dying for them to win... But I knew if they did I would have to deal with a ton of people who all of a sudden just woke up and realized they were Seahawks fans (Red Sox, anyone?), so when they lost I was upset, but I took comfort in the fact that I didn't have to deal with thousands of "bandwagon" accusations.

I'm talking more about things like the Florida 04's, Durant, Harang, Billy G and so on. By the time they blow up I'm bored with it...

I'll raise my hand as one of those select few.

 

I had my moments of insanity where I kind of wanted it to be Jay Wright if it wasn't Donovan, but I was snapped back into reality when I realized what I'd said. :lol: When the search began, I said as long as it was Billy D or Billy G I'd be content.
