It's funny how things work cause when I first listened to Suicidal Tendencies and Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar album, those really sounded like METAL to me. Getting older and listening to A LOT of stuff, that stuff just sounds "alternative". Behemoth, Converge, Cradle of Filth is what I would consider metal now.

 

I did searches for TSR betting and several sites come up, but none that explain exactly what it means in relation to betting.

Yeah, I don't like the phrase "emo" AT ALL, but the more I listened to FATA they fit that bill. Not that it makes them a bad band or anything, but you are right, they aren't metal.

 

Emo is also a broad brush... I try not to group them with bands like Dashboard Confessional and Bright Eyes because they're so different... I put FATA and The Used (2/3 of my 3 favorite bands going, along with Pearl Jam.. who don't fit the bill at all) in a group by themselves... Their sound is different than the others. When I think emo, I think more of bands who just whine all the time... FATA has some amazing music with great music to match, and I think they're "bigger" than emo... Probably makes no sense, but I just worked a 10 horu shift so you know...

 

I really usually try not to lump bands together, because it takes away from their body of work when you start making comparisons.
