Just heard it on the radio. The school board hired Coach Lutz to be the Head coach at Ironton.

Should we be suprised.........Okay, considering what has happened down in Ironton recently, I really do not know what to think:confused:

I hope a certain assistant doesn't go back to the Tigers sideline with him.:cry:

It would be a huge loss for the Rams if he does so.

I found the answer that I wanted. There was an article in todays paper about the return of coach Lutz and his new assistants. The coach I had in mind was not mentioned and that is good news for Ram fans.

THe last time they played Kentucky schools was in '05. THey played both Ashland Paul Blazer and Belfry and beat them both, but I couldn't find who they are playing this year

Ashland plays them this year at Tank Stadium.

Belfry still dont play them, is Ahsland the only Ky. school they face?

By the way nothing but respect for Lutz one of nicest guys I ever met, and he can coach his teams are so disciplined.

Ashland lost that game by 1 point - missing a field goal in the final seconds. It was one of the best high school football games I have seen.

 

Ashland has them in game 3 this year (Sep 7th).

This is good news for the folks at Ironton and bad news for the opposition.
